Re: Renewing Our Commitment to Excellence in 2025

Dear fellow Executive Directors:

As we embark on a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our achievements and set our sights on the future. Our collective efforts have made a significant impact on the communities we serve, and I am incredibly proud of the progress we have made together.

In 2025, we will continue to renew our commitment to excellence, reenergize our initiatives, and reimagine the possibilities for our housing authorities in North Carolina. Our focus will be on enhancing safety, improving resident services, and fostering stronger community relationships.

Key initiatives for the year include:

Safety Enhancements: Continued focus on fire safety at our housing authorities. NCHARRP is committed to working with us to implement safe spaces for our residents and facilitate training materials for them.

Resident Services: We will expand our support services to better meet the needs of our residents, including new educational and employment opportunities.

Employee Safety & Wellbeing: We will continue to facilitate risk control and training to ensure that our staff stays well and goes home to their families after work each day.

I am confident that with your dedication and hard work, we will achieve these goals and continue to make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and passion.
